Limited Scope Engagement Agreement – Tax Resolution Strategy Session
This Limited Scope Engagement Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Paladini Law, LLC (“We” or “Us”) and You identified below. This Agreement sets forth the scope of services, fees, and responsibilities of both parties.
1. Purpose and Nature of the Tax Resolution Strategy Session
The strategy session will provide you with legal advice and recommendations related to your tax issue. Most legal and tax issues cannot be resolved in a single meeting. Nevertheless, we will do our best to explain information about the process for your particular problem. We will provide general legal advice based on the information you provide. The strategy session does not include filing documents for you or representation beyond the meeting unless separately agreed upon in writing.
2. Confidentiality
All information and documents you provide at the initial session will remain confidential even if you do not retain our services further. However, no attorney-client relationship is intended to be established by the initial consultation. The consultation is a limited-scope service. After the consultation, you are not obligated to retain us, and we are not responsible for providing services unless mutually agreed in a separate writing.
3. Fees and Payment Terms
After the consultation, if you agree to retain us and we agree to provide services, we will prepare a separate agreement. We charge an initial consultation fee of $500.00 for up to 60 minutes, due before the initial consultation appointment. It is non-refundable unless you provide 24 hours' notice of cancellation. We are committed to providing exceptional value during your strategy session. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the session, we will refund your payment in full. To qualify for a refund, let us know by the end of the meeting, and we will process your request promptly. If you do not let us know by the end of the session, you will not be eligible to request a refund later.
